Are You Ready to Become a Spanish National and Stay in Spain Forever?
We’re not surprised!
Among other requirements, the law calls for a pass mark on the official test of constitutional and cultural knowledge of Spain (CCSE) exam.
Take the test at our Academy in Puerto de la Cruz! As a language centre accredited by the Cervantes Institute, we act as an official examination centre.
CCSE exams are held every last Thursday of each month at 6pm (local time). Exceptions are August and December when there will be no calls for the exam.
Enrollment and Payment
All enrolment and payment is online with the Instituto Cervantes at https://examenes.cervantes.es/.
Check this video for more detailed steps on the registration process.
Payment can be made by credit card or PayPal.
The registration fee is valid for two exam sittings, in the event of:
- not being able to sit the exam on the first call
- or not passing the exam at the first attempt
In any such case, the candidate should take the exam at the same place, on the second call within the following 18 months from the date of registration.
What Is the CCSE Exam Structure?
- The exam is divided into two parts and consists of 25 questions that test your knowledge about the Spanish constitution, society and culture.
- 15 questions will be about the government, legislation and the citizen participation in Spain.
- 10 questions will be about Spain’s culture, history and society.
- The test duration is 45 minutes.
Publication of Results
The Instituto Cervantes will publish the results of the CCSE examination approximately 20 days after the sitting date.
Candidates will receive notification that the results have been published online by the Instituto Cervantes.
Candidates will be able to access an official digital certificate in their own private area on the CCSE website by using a personal verification code.
After the results have been posted online, there is a period of one month when requests can be submitted for a review of the marks.
