Spanish Host Family
Living with a host family is the perfect opportunity to practice your Spanish in a real-life, practical environment! Some of our families speak only Spanish, and you will get the chance to discover the Spanish way of life by participating in activities with your host family. The local people here are proud of their customs, and can’t wait to share them with you!

Life with a host family is always a very special experience. We select our families carefully and try to match the family with your needs. They may consist of parents with children, a couple, or a single person, and come from a variety of different backgrounds and socio-economic groups. Our families reflect the exciting diversity of Tenerife!
Puerto de la Cruz
In Puerto de la Cruz all our host houses are located within 10 to 30 minutes walking distance of the language school. In this small, quiet city on the north-west coast of Tenerife, you find a lot of local people living there. Start using your Spanish skills straight away in everyday situations. The local people are friendly and will always have time for a quick chat. Join your host family to the variety of cultural events and dive deep into the Spanish lifestyle.
What's included?
All our host families provide room cleaning, towels, and bed linen. Usage of facilities like kitchen and laundry can vary from home to home, but you can always decide to include half- or full-board in your accommodation package. 15 days before arrival you will receive the details of the family. Let us know any preferences you may have in advance, like a special diet, smoking or non-smoking, a preference for a family with or without children and/or pets. This way we can make sure your house here in Tenerife is more like a home!

Location
Our apartments in Puerto de la Cruz are all located within walking distance of the language school and the town centre. Start your day with a stroll to school and head out into town for some fun in the evening! Everything is accessible on foot or by bus – the shops, the beach, and more!
Facilities
Our shared apartments are well equipped and furnished with sofas, a dining table, chairs and a TV, as well as linen in the bedrooms. The kitchen has everything you need to make a delicious meal (except the food), and the apartment has it’s own washing machine, iron, and ironing board. Just bring your own towels and your great personality!

Our beautiful apart-hotels are perfect if you want independent living in a carefree hotel setting, and are ideal if you’re travelling with family!
Options
All our apart-hotels are offered on a private basis, so if you’re coming to Tenerife with family this is a great option. Rooms are available as a studio or apartment for up to six people, and the whole room is booked for you alone so you can feel as comfortable as possible! Prices are per night, so this option can be tailored to the exact duration of your stay.
Facilities
This hotel-style accommodation provides you with all the facilities you need to make your stay carefree and enjoyable. Studios and apartments are equipped with their own bathroom and kitchenette, as well as all the furnishings in living and bedroom areas. The apart-hotels are fully staffed so you don’t need to worry about daily cleaning!
