Visit the botanical garden
Our school is located right across from an incredible botanical garden. The teacher will present you with iconic plants from different parts of the world and what is special to that season you’re visiting as well as give you some history information as the origin dates back to 1788. Of course, all in Spanish! The visit is organized thanks to the el Jardín de Aclimatación de La Orotava.

Tarde con Juanjo
Every Thursday afternoon, Juanjo takes you on a guided walk through a different town in the north of Tenerife, practicing Spanish along the way. The evening wraps up with dinner featuring typical Canarian food and local wine. Trust us, this is the real Tenerife experience.
1. El Realejo (La Montaña) – A walk up the hill to the El Monasterio restaurant area, including a 20-minute climb to the chapel at the top and back down. The evening ends with dinner at a traditional guachinche.
2. La Orotava – A stroll through its picturesque streets and historic gardens, with commentary on the city's architecture and history. The evening ends sharing dishes at a local restaurant.
3. El Puerto (Puerto de la Cruz) – A walk through the La Ranilla neighbourhood, the harbour area and the most iconic squares and streets of the town. The evening ends at a local bar to enjoy together.
Meeting Point: Varies depending on the activity. Details provided upon registration.

Movie Fridays
What better way to end the week? Grab your popcorn, sit back and dive into Hispanic cinema and series — all in Spanish! Watch clips or short films, pick up everyday expressions you won't learn in class, and discuss what you've seen with your classmates. It's like a movie night with friends, except you're also improving your Spanish. Win-win, right?
