Baile de Magos y Pescadores de las Fiestas Patronales en honor de Santa Ana
En Candelaria there has always been a great fondness for Canarian folklore and the dances of magicians. As an example of this, in April 1936 a “typical regional dance” was held in the cinema, which at that time was run by Ángel Alonso Medina, and on May 23, 1953 another one was held in the local Casino.
On the occasion of the Santa Ana festivities, these dances began to be held in the forties in the halls of Don Sixto Machado. Later, in the fifties and sixties they were held in the Candelaria Cinema.
